We are indeed lucky to have a man like Jeff Sessions representing our interests in Congress. Jeff was the “lone wolf” in the Senate, when he stood up to sneaky Congressional attempts to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. Eventually, the majority of Americans rose up and took the time to let their elected officials know they were not on board with that idea, and the bill fell to the wayside.

This year, Mr. Sessions has been rallying around oil and energy independence (and long before gas prices passed the $3 a gallon mark). Once again, the public is waking up to the urgent need to use our resources to create energy in dependence- and push our “leadership” to get the ball rolling.

Get involved! There are actually politicians that think rising gas prices is a good thing (did you hear Obama's comments? Google it and find out!)!

I am old enough to remember studying the big news of the Alaska Pipeline in My Weekly Reader. Environmentalists were against it, yet all it has done in 40 years is contribute to the Alaskan environment and wild life. People forget that during Hurricane Katrina, there was no oil spilled. We have the technology and genius to drill without damaging the environment.
