Ready for a laugh?
I always wanted to be a rock star. One problem though- I sing like a hinge, and failed to master any usable instrument in a band. If I had the talent, someone else would be playing my songs on Alice.
I did, however, make a music video. When M TV debuted, they obnoxiously predicted music radio's doom. Why just listen when you can watch it? Well, that was tough for people driving cars or not wishing for a bathtub electrocution and last I checked, music radio was doing fine 25 years after MTV's premier.

Those of you who bowl may have never seen this done- a conversion of the 7-10 "split" in bowling.
I saw it done. If you watch this clip you'll see how lucky I was- on national TV.
This PBA event was held in Sunrise, Florida in 1991 at Don Carter's (bowling Hall-of-Famer) Center. Don was a friend of mine (we did a lot of fund raising for abused kids) and I called him the day of the tournament to see if he could scrounge up a ticket. I'd wanted to watch a pro final since I started watching bowling on TV as a kid.
